I am a consultant plastic surgeon now working completely in the independent sector although previously I was a consultant in the Army and then subsequently in the NHS at St Thomas' Hospital.
I have been doing plastic surgery since 1985 and am accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons as having undergone a satisfactory training in plastic surgery and so my name is on the specialist register of the General Medical Council (1350610). I was first appointed a consultant in October 1989.
I stopped doing cosmetic surgery in July 2015 and now do minor procedures under local anaesthetic in the outpatient theatre. This includes mole excision, cyst excision, lipoma removal, scar revision, skin cancer excision, skin grafts and skin flaps. I am recognised by all the major providers of private medical insurance (PMI) and charge within their guidlines.
I carry full professional indemnity from the Medical Protection Society and am a member of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
I live in Blackheath, South East London where I do most of my work.
Out patient clinics are held in Blackheath (Winchester House), Fawkham (near Brands Hatch) and Chelsfield (near Orpington, Kent).
Outpatient, local anaesthetic sessions take place on Friday afternoon at Winchester House in Blackheath and Tuesday afternoon at Fawkham Manor Hospital.
